He never started a game. He pitched 3 1/3 against Wake in the regional, good memory.

This was Walt's quote when I clarified that last weekend against Western Carolina was his first collegiate start:

"He said he came in after a rain delay and started a game in the conference tournament once. He counted that as a start. In his mind, it’s his second."

We are hosting a regional as long as we don’t get swept by state (and maybe even then). Hosting the super is very much on the table with a sweep this weekend.
 
I know we already have a transfer starter coming in next year but we probably need one more. I really like this freshman class but not sure any of the sophomore relievers are capable weekend starters.

Is the Ivy League guy starter material? I assume you are referring to the GT guy?

After Rhett and Chase b2b I doubt we have a hard time getting an elite weekend starter from the portal.

I think we probably have two transfer starters coming in. From Penn and GT.
