Dude could flat out ball. Watched him destroy some snot-nosed kids that thought they could play. Unbelievable athlete. Shut down Oscar Robertson in an NCAA tourney game. Great guy
 
Was a great foul shooter for Wake in 1954. So there's that.

Question is, Is he alive?
 
Yes, he is still in Youngsville. I cant shoot worth a lick, but I can make free throws all day long, thanks to him.

Wake never played against Oscar Robertson in the NCAA Tourney. They did play them in the Dixie Classic but I think that was after DePorter graduated.
