BBall Recruiting Thread 2k19 - Charles Coleman de-commits to Wake. :(

Eh, I hadn't seen his assist numbers and assumed he was a point guard based on highlights. Looks like more of a 2 guard, and not a bad one at that if he's 100% back from his injury.

It would make sense if we're anticipating a Lewis redshirt year based on his lack of play to add a 1 year filler combo 1/2 guy. It'd also make sense for him to back up Chill at point if Craw leaves. Let's hope it's the former.

No redshirt for Lewis. No way. If he can't recover from injury in two years at his age he'll never recover. And there's also almost no chance he stays at Wake 5 years. Why bother redshirting ?

this is exactly why redshirting basketball players is stupid in general

If Lewis hasn't recovered enough to play this year, then he needs to shunted to the transfer line as soon as possible.

Michael Finke from Illinois is transferring. Grad transfer that would be immediately eligible.

6’10”, 235

Good offensive efficiency and rebounding numbers.

Seems like he’d be a great fit for minutes at the 4 and 5.

ETA: Just noticed that Jamill Jones liked the announcement on Twitter.

Coach Jones should also like Evan Boudreaux from Dartmouth's tweets. True student-athlete graduating early and was All-Academic in Ivy League. Also led the league in rebounding and was the most efficient pick-and-pop player in the league. Synergy stats had him as a top 5 most efficient pick and pop player in 16-17 season. 6-8 220. Would be a good fit here as a grad transfer.

Plus he is from Lake Forest, IL - so that has to mean something, right?

More turnovers than assists, he should fit right in to Manning's offense!

Just that he would likely put his name in the draft, but no decision on whether he would return if (most assuredly the case) he doesn't get the news that he would like.

I now follow something called Cheddi on Twitter.

It sounds like we’ve offered.

Part of me feels like it is a big prank on PhDeac... Like we’ll start Cheddi at the 2 and have Brown play spot minutes. Just because.

Fun fact: BU had a player named Walter Whyte this year.

High minutes (over 1000) point guard. 2:1 A:T. 34% threes. 41% overall shooting. 85%FT Took the most shots and most threes on the team.

He will be a regular transfer, as he just finished his sophomore season.
