If I were totally loaded, I'd find a way to establish residency in Florida, but I wouldn't be happy about it. I'm sure I could get a lot of golf and fishing accomplished. State tax in NC and GA isn't that bad though. But California is a horrible idea. Sorry Jed Clampett, you fucked up.

I'm not sure how many places worth living in CA are as affordable as living in most cities in FL. My house would probably be $10M+ in any major metro area of CA.

It was in the 30s last night. High of 61 today. Long winter for FL. And we may get another day or two of winter next week. Crazy stuff.
 
I knew I should have continued with my degree.
