Computer help: "Wireless networks detected" pop-up

Pit: Please tell me how to stop this pop-up, which appears every 3 seconds on my work computer. Thanks.

Disable your wireless network adapter/connection?

You probably have a physical switch on your laptop somewhere that does this.. either that a or function key + some other key on the keyboard that toggles wifi on or off.

There's probably a network that has a weak signal your computer keeps finding and dropping. You can probably tell it to ignore this network in the wifi settings. There's possibly a setting to tell it not to popup also. There may be a setting to tell it not to seek networks unless you specify one. What OS are you using?
