Ft. Lauderdale Travel Suggestions

Booked a cruise in June. Plan to fly into FLL 2-3 days prior and enjoy the area near Port Everglades.

Would appreciate suggestions re: hotels, restaurants and any other fun stuff to do for a few days in FLL.

One of my favorite bars is Bahia Cabana in Ft. lauderdale. Its sort of in the back of crappy motel, right on the harbor and you can watch the yachts roll in. They have live music most nights.

Another really cool place (especially if you like craft beer) is Riverside Market. There are both tables and couches and million different types of beer. You just pick beers from the fridge and give them your empty bottles at the end to pay. The food is also really good. Its in a neighborhood away from the downtown Ft lauderdale, but worth a visit. http://theriversidemarket.com/
