iPad Replacement Screen

My 10 YOs best friend dropped my sons ipad and cracked the screen. It still works but its in really bad shape.

Apple has a replacement program ($250) but was curious if anyone has used an off market screen replacement.

I have no technical skills so this job will be outsourced.

Where do you live? If you're near a city just look on craigslist, always people on there offering that service (should be around $125).
 
i had a good experience with icracked.com. I chose to sell it to them and buy a Nexus 7 but they also repair. The tech came to my office and wrapped up the whole transaction right there, no hidden fees or extra charge for on-site service or anything. Very simple.
