Lawyers....Would this scene make your day more interesting?

The Google machine works wonders.

Judge John Murphy is accused of punching veteran public defender Andrew Weinstock after the two had words during court in which Murphy allegedly pressured Weinstock to get his client to waive his right to a speedy trial. "You know, if I had a rock I would throw it at you right now," Murphy tells Weinstock. "Stop pissing me off. Just sit down."

"You know I'm the public defender. I have a right to be here and I have a right to stand and represent my client," Weinstock said in the video.

There's obviously a history here but the judge is out of line.

I forgot which article on it I read this, but apparently this Judge and attorney have a history. They've been grating on each others nerves for some time and have had verbal exchanges in court previously, but never anything violent.

The judge is taking a leave of absence and taking anger management classes.

The judge and lawyer both obviously screwed up here, but the judge more than the lawyer.

Removed...it looks like you've gone a few posts without ruthlessly attacking another poster.

Clearly you haven't been following the FAT PLAMA scandal. Moonz is locked in.

Here comes the Judge!

Obviously a history between these two.

The perfect ending would be for the judge to charge the lawyer with assault and contempt.

It looked as though the bailiffs thought that they shouldn't be in a hurry to get involved. Bet they were aware of the history here.

I figured since you seemed so into the specifics of the case you might have a great story to link. Sorry to offended your senses by asking.

I read a news article I found online, among the many. If that makes me "so into the specfics," then I'm a pure fucking genius about everything.

Or at least how to search the net. No worries, sweetie.

You are a grouchy SOB.
