MBB Game 16: L'ville @ The KFC Yum Center: Saturday 3 pm - ACCN

He's pissed because we ball watch and react to the ball late with wild close outs and put ourselves in bad positions.
 
A decent first half. Offense working well enough to get good shots that the team has made inside and outside. The defense is forcing the turnovers that Louisville is prone to commit. Hard to complain with a 17 point lead. A word of caution. The Deacs are getting hammered on the boards, allowing the Cards nine offensive rebounds that result in eight points. That is an easy way to let Louisville back in the game.
 
It’s hard to reach much into this game tbh. Let’s just win by 20+. Disregard stats and individual performances.
 
One weakness of this year’s team is the inability to close out teams. Whenever they have had a chance to close out a game, they take their foot off the opponent’s throat. This is a great opportunity to take a positive step forward and close out Louisville early in the 2nd half. Don’t allow them to ever cut the lead below 10.
 
Louisville definitely looks like Mannnig has been involved. If we win by 30 I'm not sure that's impressive against this bunch. God, they are horrible.
 
Alright...won that first quarter segment by three and up twenty. Keep stretching this out and pad some numbers.
 
It would be good to get up enough to give Ituka some serious minutes (and Tyree some serious rest) the last 10 minutes of the game.

Nope. We can’t do that. As has been said multiple times, putting in backups may have cost us the tourney last year. We have to keep the pedal down for 40 minutes and win by as many as possible. The computer doesn’t count garbage time as garbage time.

We also can’t do it because by all accounts Ituka is still hurt
 
The Payne apologist nonsense reached the next level with that graphic.
 
I don't think it's going to make a big difference overall, but I'd like to win by 20+ and move up 5-10 spots in everything
