Miami @ VT - ACCT seeding game for Wake

One upside to drawing UVa would be the chance for a great win.

Sidenote -- when's the last time we played them in the ACCT? Having a hard time remembering a game from this century.

Granted, probably a few teams fall into that category given our woes in that tournament (and the regular season, too)

I thought I had a memory of playing the Travis Watson team in the ACC but a quick google search tells me I'm wrong about that.

Wake hasn't played UVA in the ACCT since 1996. Won 70-60 in the quarterfinals en route to the title. That season was also the last time neither UNC nor Duke made the title game (Wake beat Georgia Tech).

I was at the WF one point win over GT in that ACCT title game- unfortunately Rutland blew out his knee in that game.
