Official Champions League 2018/2019 - New & Improved: Arsenal AND Chelsea Free (NWT)
Champions League qualifying rounds have now reached the point where everyone left will either make it to the Champions League group stages or will fall back directly into the Europa League group stages, so it's probably worth starting to talk about it. There's a few good match-ups this round already - Celtic is taking on AEK Athens, Standard Liege and Red Star Belgrade and the big one - Benefica and Fenerbahce.
For the group stages - Liverpool should be big Fenerbahce fans, because they will jump up to Pot #2 in the draw if Benefica is eliminated. Otherwise the first two pots are now set, with Manchester City being the only Premier League team in Pot #1 (Manchester United and Tottenham are in Pot #2). Other than potentially Liverpool, there's no real chance of a group of death because Pot #3 and Pot #4 look pretty weak this year ... could be a very boring group stage.
And if you are traveling to England to watch the Champions League this year - remember that the only location in the city you can watch it live is in North London, specifically in the N17 postal code.
