Official NCAA Final Four Thread

I am absolutely shocked. St Josephs had that team buried. It must be killing them to watch UConn on this run. And for everyone to say that Manning just doesn't have enough experience, watch UConn. His first ever post season, and Kevin Ollie is doing amazing things.

HAd the same thought when they said that. Sure, the rosters are different and the previous coach was way different, but it's a reason to be optimistic.

The "Billy D can't coach, only recruit" narrative is kind of stupid at this point.
 
Florida actually matched up ok. They just realized too late that they could score at will down low. UConn's interior defense has been awful all year against physical forwards. Boatright and Napier just pressure enough to block the passing lanes.

UConn just had better guards, plain and simple. They stuck Napier on Frazier and the three point threat was eliminated.

3 Elite 8s, 1 Final 4 in the last 4 years, but yeah, when they go up against better coached teams, Florida isn't very good!

This is only Ryan's 13th season at Wisconsin? Where did he coach before going there?
 
Yeah but the Gators went 36-3 this year and lost to only two teams, one when half the roster was decimated. That's why it's fucking stupid. Especially when the other coach is Kevin Ollie
 
You all didn't think UConn was better coached? UF got worked and they were helpless for all but the first 10 minutes and a few spurts. UConn easily broke pressure and got plenty of easy shots in the half court. Their defense was spectacular. Feel free to ignore Ollie at your peril.

Personally, I thought Ollie out coached him tonight. UConn was having a lot of issues early and Ollie switched to a small lineup which they almost never use. That led them to a huge run. Donovan didn't seem to isolate Young every play until midway through the 2nd half. UConn has no one that comes close to matching up with him and he went on to score every time he touched the ball in the last 8 minutes. Too late.

Bitter Gator fans suck especially in hoops because they don't even really care about it.
 
I really don't like playing in domes. They should play in basketball arenas.
