Season Long College Basketball Thread

There are five ACC games today. Four are happening right now. That's poor scheduling.

Lol, GATech pulls off another one.

What in the world was Notre Dame thinking? If you're going to hold the ball for the last shot but there's a 4 second differential in the shot clock, you absolutely have to shoot the ball with 1 second left on the clock. Instead they shoot it with 4 seconds, miss, and give GATech the uncontested layup to win.

Only 11 total fouls in the second half. Found that interesting.
 
Seemed like Brey was trying to decide whether or not to call a TO.

GT should have been more intentional about going 2-for-1. They only got two possessions because ND screwed it up.
 
GT only played with 6 guys the whole game.

Also nice to see Lydon throwing up airballs on open 3's in crunch time against FSU.

I realize we are defensively challenged, but could we get just one game where that happens for us? And have it not just be Boston College? Duke went 1/8 from deep in the final quarter of their NC State loss, most of the attempts were wide open. At home. UNC couldn't throw it in the ocean against GaTech when they packed it inside and just gave them open looks. Never seems to happen against us, or when it does (UVA last year) something insane happens.

It does seem that way. I wonder if our smallish guards and slow-footed forwards give shooters a little more confidence against us.
