Seriously. Even 90% efficiency or whatever is just an insane upgrade over our current technology. The best part of the machine is it doesn't involve any high brow quantum physics or anything. Just an inventor with some ingenuity.

And with regard to the perpetual motion aspect, you'd think they could just measure the speed of the ball every week or so and see if it's making any change. I'm unclear as to how there's a dispute as to whether this is perpetual or not. Just see if it's decelerating.
