I have been in England/Scotland for 2 weeks. It was the tits.

Exams were tough this time around, I never know how I do on them.

For some reason, I never got off on the loaded goat episode, although I do know many people really like it. I see someone also likes dogs, dogs, dogs. There are so many good ones, it's hard to choose.
I didn't pick any of the color ones, but I admit that I like watching them too. They are not masterpieces like the earlier ones, but they are entertaining nevertheless.
 
In year 1, Andy acted like a fool, as he hadn't established his straight man role yet. I read somewhere that he doesn't like the year 1 episodes either. The show started getting its legs in year 2 and popped out some good episodes. But there is no doubt that the show really hits its stride during years 3-5, particularly year 4. The show was obviously in decline during years 5-8, but those episodes are 10 times better than the pieces of sh*t that are on TV today. They are campy, but I like the Howard Sprague stuff, even though some of it jumped the shark.
 
I finally got all of my Christmas stuff done, so I'm gonna drink a brew and wait and see what episodes you guys think should represent the top 25.
 
I never got the love for Opie the Birdman.

Fun girls episodes, All the Ernest T Bass episodes (My fair, Army, Wedding) All the Darling episodes.
 
I think Bargain Day is under appreciated. You never see it listed among the top 25 episodes, but I think it is very solid.

The episodes you list are no doubt great. But how in the world does Opie's Charity not make your Top 25? The "poor Horatio" dialogue is pure gold, not to mention the ending of the episode where Opie tells Andy that the reason he has only contributed a penny to his school's fund drive for the needy is because he is saving his money to buy his girlfriend Charlotte a coat.

I love most Gomer episodes. One that always makes me laugh is Andy Saves Gomer's Life. Gomer is just so over the top, it cracks me up.
 
I left off Barney's Sidecar by mistake. Would have had it somewhere in the top 10.
