The Bubble

Thought it seemed worthwhile to start tracking the teams we’re competing with for a spot.

Providence should lose to UConn. Let’s hope for a blowout. Maybe GT can best Virginia. What other games should we be watching?

We won’t be on the bubble when we win the whole fucking ACC Tournament
Image of I GUESS THERES ONLY ONE THING LEFT TO DO WIN THE WHOLE FUCKING THING

FWIW, based on Lunardi going into today's games:
Last Four Byes: Colo St (36 NET) won, TCU (38) lost, Miss St (39) lost, Seton Hall (63!?!?) won
Last Four In: Villanova (31) lost, St. John's (37) won, New Mexico (27) lost, Virginia (50) won
First Four Out: Providence (61?!?!?) lost, Colorado (30) won, Utah (48) lost, Iowa (58) plays Illinois tomorrow
Next Four Out: Memphis (71!?!?!) lost, Wake (41) won, Pitt (43) won, Drake (46) won

Possible ACCT Wake/Pitt elimination game upcoming
Out of this group of 16 teams, we'll probably have the 5th best NET after tonight

Def couldn't pick a better time to get a big win than when the committee is watching and debating your merits. Next Friday would be a fantastic time to do it.

ND/GT/Pitt is not a bad path to the semis. Let's take care of biz

For what it’s worth, the Providence Journal seems to think yesterday’s loss to UConn by 14 at home probably popped PC’s bubble.

yeah I thinking winning the next two is probably enough to move us into the field (Dayton / last four in) but not a sure thing. Win three including over bubba’s team and we are definitely in and probably not in Dayton.

If Pitt got 2 wins that means they’d beat Carolina and they’d only be a 50/50?
