I loved Bloom County. Pretty much the only comic strip that legit made me laugh. Bill the Cat was hilarious.
 
Calvin & Hobbes tops my list hands down.

Followed by Far Side, Garfield, Peanuts, and Hagar.

old school vote for Pogo, even though it was a little before my time. My dad had several books, and even though I didn't get all the references they made me laugh, and later when I got the references it was even funnier. Otherwise C&H, Doones and anything Don Martin in Mad Magazine.
