Totally Unofficial 2015/16 Premier League Thread (NWT)

the manager changes, the philosophy changes, the squad somewhat changes, but the shit finishing stays the same!

The big question of the day.....did Downing come in as a left winger or a left back? Johnson sure seems further forward now......

Looking forward to the game tomorrow. Gylfi's homecoming, Clint's Spurs' debut, and we haven't played a PL match for 25 days so it's about damn time for a game. Plus I think we can at the least get something, haven't been impressed with AVB & co. thus far

So does Brendan Rodgers get time to build his squad, or does he get the boot if they don't go Top 6 this year?

Incidentally, Raheem Sterling was Liverpool's most accurate passer today. He passed 35 times with 94% pass accuracy.

Barca wins 4-1 away to Getafe. Madrid loses 1-0 to Sevilla and now sits 8 pts back after just four matches.

Rodgers' problem is that the majority of his squad don't have the required technique to be good players in his system. When players have subpar first touch and passing skills, it just isn't a good match for what he wants to do.

dv7 is 100% correct. Rodgers is very good and I'm willing to give him as much time as he needs. It's not him, it's the players.

It is Rodgers' fault for how he is grossly misplaying Borini tho. That guy is clearly not a wide forward.
