UNC program would pay athletes same as scholly money to finish school

Can't wait to see how our tax dollars actually make their way to pay for this. Not chance the actual athletic department is paying for this through any other means. The outside source funding has to go to the bag men.

Regardless of where they are from, I'm sure they will only pay in-state tuition, so there you have us paying (probably) about half their tuition.

Yeah, that's true. They shouldn't be able give more than 4(5 or 6 sometimes given with redshirts and injuries) years of a scholarship should they? They would not care about their eligibility at that time, of course, but the promise of this sounds like an extra benefit.

In hindsight, it would take an idiot to not graduate from UNC in some easy major if given 5 or 6 years, though.
