Guess we can get another few innings out of him for one game tomorrow.
 
Reminder that tomorrow is a double header. Let's at least take 1....2 would be awesome.
 
Man Roberts came out of nowhere (9.19 ERA last year) to be pretty damn filthy early on this year. He has some curve on the ball that I haven't seen in a while. Mowed them down in the final 3 innings. Believe we may have found our closer.

Sheets has always been good at defense at first. Having a huge year so far in the cleanup spot. Stu also very good in CF and hitting well.

This team has some serious hitting talent.
 
State started their ace AA but it's his 1st start of the year. Had 1 run in 3 innings but we got his pitch count up. 4 off his reliever in the 4th.

8-5 State. We have given up 4 runs in the 6th and they haven't hit the ball out of the infield. 3 infield hits and walks.
