Juke and Parker won't play 1 minute of combined PG next season. WTF is he talking about.
I'm pretty confident in the fact that Wake Forest was looking to recruit a guard that would compete/possibly play over Boopie.Boopie was not gonna have a reduced role. He produced a pretty high level as an ACC PG esp as a sophomore. It's a loss. Sucks but this is what it is now.
how is someone like boopie getting offers while not officially in the portal?
yesCan NIL consortiums put together multi year deals with penalties for early termination? To lock guys in?

running things through an agent who is talking to NIL collectives?
seriouslySeriously?
If memory serves, we were recruiting Horne hard long after Boopie committed, so this stands to reason.I'm pretty confident in the fact that Wake Forest was looking to recruit a guard that would compete/possibly play over Boopie.
yesare there relaxed rules on NIL collectives collaborating with coaches/athletic departments now?
are NIL collectives using advanced metrics to maximize their dollars -- $500k for Boopie vs. $750k for PG X with three years of eligibility, etc.
Good to know, thanks. For what it’s worth, if it were me I’d prioritize use of any NIL that is earmarked for keeping current players to Reid and Carr rather than Boopie.don't need to worry here
I don't think this is an indictment. There are resources to retain players. One has to be smart about those resources. It's more so an indictment of our potential than Boopie specifically. If we are not in a position to retain starting level talent, we are not in a position to succeed.

Meant my response in terms of this year, but you're probably right on last year too.I'm pretty confident in the fact that Wake Forest was looking to recruit a guard that would compete/possibly play over Boopie.
seriously
do all these guys have agents? does a guy like aaron clark have an agent? are schools calling him directly? are coaches talking to him yet or just NIL collectives?
I don't know how any of this works
Like the way you think.Good to know, thanks. For what it’s worth, if it were me I’d prioritize use of any NIL that is earmarked for keeping current players to Reid and Carr rather than Boopie.
Correct. Boopie committed to WF March 19, 2023. DJ Horne committed to NCST on April 17, I think. If memory serves, we were recruiting Horne hard long after Boopie committed, so this stands to reason.
Yeah don't disagree. Time will tell on this one obviously if we're able to get someone superior, but I have my doubts that we can bring in a Sallis and Boopie level guard tandem again.I don't think this is an indictment. There are resources to retain places. One has to be smart about those resources.
Guess notas excited as I am about Boopie's development next year I think it'd be ideal if we could bring in a grad transfer PG and Boopie could come in and be an energy/change of pace guy off the bench.
Honestly don't know if Boopie would be down for that though.
