WS Rec League Basketball

Can't remember if this has been asked before but does anyone know of any Men's Rec Basketball leagues in Winston? I've asked around and haven't heard of much but I figure there has to be one out there. Thanks for any info.

Rusty used to have a summer league - not sure if it is still around. if you can travel the chavis league in raleigh is good also

Jeff [Redacted] coached a halfway decent rec league team in WS for 4 years, and they got to play in some pretty big arenas.

The leagues are out there...some through churches.

Worst case: get in some pickup games at the Y and start asking around.

Be prepared to spend half of all pickup games arguing whether it was a foul or not.

Adult pick up games at the Central Y were some of the worst athletic experiences of my life. Way too many washed up former HS/playground stars who think they're incapable of missing or turning the ball over without being fouled. Stay away.
