I think the argument that rap music is a unique motivator of gun violence in America has fallen by the wayside.
 
impossible to pick one but it is funny triumph came to mind and that was like the third post. tupac is far and away my favorite artist tho, i see him as a political/social artist not a "gangerster rapper".. in fact tupac decried that characterization of himself repeatedly while he was alive.

glad to see nobody has mentioned jay-z so far.

but yeah can't pick one. also, for example mob deep beats are totally different than kurupt on the opposite coast, so it's mood dependent partly.
