Investment Thread - For all your money needs

Now we get the fun of a "who wants to hold GME into the weekend?" hour before the close...

It has been suprisingly quiet this afternoon.

I mean good chance some percentage of people holding GME don't know the markets close on the weekend.

Lowwwwwww volume. Kinda hard for retail buyers when Robinhood capped orders.

Kinda think the endgame is a standoff where it slowly bleeds out.

Yep, not sure how folks are expecting this to end well. Buying power was taken away, it can't go up exponentially anymore.

do these people who held since $50 really think it's going to rocket to $950?

in an ideal free market it theoretically could have gone to infinity, but eventually the bubble pops and those holding the shorts just go bankrupt. Then it's on the clearinghouses to cover the money and go after the funds.

What I suspect is really happening is that institutional investors hedged against the losses over the last couple days and we essentially have a standoff right now.

Depends on how much of that short interest was due today. It's possible all the stuff this week got covered yesterday and the SI we are seeing is the stuff gobbled up in anticipation of the epic fall that will happen when everyone cashes out.
