Ongoing US GOP Debacle Thread: Seditious Republicans march toward authoritarianism

It's becoming clearer and clearer that Republicans view gun violence as an acceptable loss to keep their interpretation of 2nd Amendment rights. Look at their ridiculous suggestions. It's all about arming people to act after violence has already started. It's about more guns in the hands of "good guys" than fewer guns in the hands of bad guys.

Look at how they cheered about the Maryland school shooting. A 17 year old boy went to school with a Glock to kill his ex-girlfriend. He shot her. She died in the hospital days later. A cop shot him. Republicans viewed that as a success.
 
Of course they drink Smirnoff Ice.

 
I’ll put this here as a sad reminder of the vacuous yet harmful GOP (“conservative”) mantra that less (government) is always better. Amazing that such common sense needs to be published or explained. Yet it does need saying.

Also highlights the failures of a GOP led congress.
