Clinton Email Problem

just because somebody has different ideas than you doesn't mean that person is divisive. some of you act like you're 10 years old.

+1. To the victor go the spoils. The president advocated on behalf of the 53% of the country that voted for him. Divisive is the nonsense narrative that was conjured up by republicans before Obama even had a chance to take the oath of office. He was going to be a muslim, socialist usurper who must be stopped from ruining the country, and no actions from the president were going to change that narrative for the positive.

Thanks LK. Crazy that a 2008 McCain voter has to explain that to a 2008 Obama voter.

Is that what you think my opinion of Obama is? A muslim, socialist, usurper who must be stopped from ruining this country? Honest question.

No. I don't think that's what your opinion of Obama is. That's also not what LK said your opinion of Obama is.

Exactly. The point is that it takes a special level of hubris for Republicans to label President Obama as divisive.

it's almost like wrangor doesn't understand the meaning of the word "divisive"

There are enough reasons to disapprove of the president's performance without having to make shit up.

Right. And like Milhouse said, you can disapprove of a president's performance without claiming the president is divisive.

The Republicans just spent 5 months dicking around before confirming a relatively non-controversial AG nominee to replace a "divisive" nominee they supposedly hate. Republicans set out to make it as hard as possible for Obama to do his job and they've been successful at blaming Obama for it.

Hubris? Congress has been divisive. Obama (in my opinion) has been divisive. I don't think that takes Hubris. Neither side is interested in making any deals because it is politically inconvenient for either side to do so. Congress Members are elected regionally and thus play to their base. Obama is elected nationally and knows he has the demographics and uses Congress as his foil. It is a symbiotic relationship. I am not sure why it is hubris to have that viewpoint. Congress feeds off of Obama's unpopularity in their districts and Obama feeds off Congress unpopularity nationally.

Assigning moral value to an opinion is a favorite past time of this message board. I'll paraphrase Millhouse and state that just because someone has a different opinion of you, doesn't mean they are arrogant. Some of you act like you are 10 years old.

So the one man elected by the entire country is as divisive as the hundreds of people elected by their small divisions of the country.

Gotcha.

this post is hilarious

Trey Gowdy personally escorted Darrell Issa out of a Benghazi deposition yesterday. Issa's become such a distraction/liability that he can't even be seen having anything to do with Benghazi anymore.

Isn't this breaking a little too early for the GOP? Even if there are smoking gun private to private emails with State Dept personnel that's going to come out relatively quickly. May freeze some donors, but will be resolved long before the convention.

lol
