Just read where Fedora said that the 4 year cloud hanging over the program is disappearing. I am so disgusted with the NCAA. Here is one of the most blatant examples of lack of institutional control ever and they have sat on it for four years just hoping everyone will forget it. The only way anything is going to happen to UNC is if the people in the press and at ESPN staring calling out the NCAA on their cover up and lack of discipline. Certainly a bigger issue than if UM goes to Florida to hold spring practice. Coaches like Pitino and Harbaugh should start telling the NCAA to go fly a kite until they do something about UNC

We have a thread for this. It's been covered. UNC kicked the can down the road, but the NCAA.

You can usually tell that Fedora is lying by watching his lips. If they are moving, he is likely not telling the truth.

Why would you equate something the UNC football coach said with what the NCAA is actually going to do? Of course Fedora is going to say that. What would you expect him to say - "The four-year cloud hanging over the program has only thickened in its intensity and now permeates literally every aspect campus life. Recruits should STRONGLY consider impending punitive actions on the part of the NCAA against UNC and the impact of those actions on UNC football."

Fedora is probably right, though. I bet Ole Miss gets the hammer before UNC does, and their notice was just served.

UNC coaches are currently and have been lying to recruits about the severity of the charges against them and impending punishment.

One recruit in particular was told that the harshest punishment they would/could receive was loss of scholarships...and this was directly from a head coach. The recruit and his parent started asking questions and doing a little research and realized they were being played.

The only program that's been a little bit truthful with their players and recruits has been women's hoops...and that's not 100% by choice since they were thrown under the bus by the AD. And this year, the women's hoops team at UNC isn't very good.
