In typical WFU fashion, the team currently has the second worse round of the whole field and has fallen out of the lead. Hope they can rally on the back side...
That happens on deep squads. Pretty sure something similar happened to Haas last fall. And we know he is a great coach.
Lol what? Look what has become of what used to be the best golf program in the nation. We've had a solid year so far, but Haas is nowhere close to a "great coach".
I certainly realize the college golf landscape is very different, but it's not like Title IX is a new thing. OK St, Ga Tech, and others have lapped us in the last decade.
All state schools with much cheaper tuition to aid them in building depth.
Jerry's record merits criticism, but it doesn't mean we should overlook the disadvantage we have when competing against bigger state schools.
This year's team has depth finally, and is built for match play if we make it that far.

This argument does not hold water. Check out men's tennis very deep with five star recruits
How many private schools have won the NCAA Championship since we last did in 86? I'll give you a hint - takes less than 5 fingers to count.
Is it just Stanford (twice, '94, '07) and Pepperdine ('97)?

They took the pipe in the third round of the Hooties today. No one was going to catch SC the way they played but they need to learn to finish.
Won the Irish Creek tournament this weekend, 4th win of the year. Most since 2002-2003. That team was probably our best of the past 20 years.
