Charleston Classic Bracket - UTEP First Round

We had dinner one night at my buddy's pub near the beach.

DR put in some seriouswork during that weekend. In addition to our three games,he went to an NHL game, a UCLA football game, played poker at Commerce Casino (I think) until dawn and hung with some crazy sisters in LA. I think there was more.

That was impressive.
 
If you can enjoy the game and have some stories on the side, more power to you. Whether it was your connection or DR's or another, it is often nice to be around the Deacons Mafia. They will often surprise you (in a good way).

Is your buddy a Deac, or a Cali friend?

I remember the second I saw it live, I was like "that just must be rjkarl!" Came to the board and there was a big thread on it already.

Not to completely change the subject from a great moment in board history, but does anyone know if the exhibition games in the Bahamas will be televised/on the radio? Will we get stats/scores from them?

The guy who is one of the owners of the pub is a Cali friend, BUT one of his partners has a nephew who went to Wake.

A bunch of people from the East Cost should be able to go to the Bahamas. It's cheap to get there and close. The Bahamas are fun. Well, they were fun for a twenty-something me. :)
 
Holy shit! That clip is RJ! I've wondered what that was for a long time. How did I miss that? Priceless.
I was at the game when we played Baylor in Anaheim. Wish I had known to look for the Scout boards crew then.
 
You should have joined us. Most of the other fans thought they were in the library.
 
I guess I'll be down there for that since my son is enrolled at the College of Charleston.
