But my larger point is that these investigations won't erode his support at all. It will continue to be a witch hunt that the libs and the Dems are doing because they can't accept the results of the election. It's going to take something to actually corroborate the dossier to move the needle at all, and the pee tape is the only tangible thing that most would accept as corroboration because our society only deals in 3 min videos nowadays.
 
Sam Clovis is apparently co-operating with Mueller. Too bad his nomination for a senior position in the Dept. of Ag won't go forward. There would be some great questions. :)

The rubes won't believe any of it unless Trump admits it on air (and even then they might say he's only admitting to it for the good of the country), at which point they will simply say it doesn't matter because he's better than Hillary and #MAGA.

His support will erode some, certainly enough to cost him re-election, but not enough to kick him out of office before 2020 unless Dems win huge in 2018.
 
If a pee tape comes out Trump supporters will tell you that's just fine, lots of people do it, and also Hillary set him which means that she is the one who colluded with the Russians.

No, we'll get the SUPER hypocritical "I don't care what he does with his personal life, as long as he runs the country well." You know, the exact opposite of what Republicans said with Bill Clinton, and what goes against every social conservative value the party used to pretend to have before Trump.

There's probably a significant number of folks who believe that if Trump gets removed from office, Hillary immediately gets installed.

My beef with Clinton wasn't that he cheated on his wife, or that he got blowies - it's that he lied about it. Clinton was one of the best modern presidents we've had (from Carter on up), but that falsification under oath is a giant taint on his otherwise amazing legacy.

Evangelicals love them some hookers, they just hate talking about it. Also of all the shit trump has done, paying some hookers to piss in a bed Obama was going to be sleeping in is a meh burger. Honestly it is just kinda savage, and funny in a fucked up way. The crazy thing is Trump doesn't drink, what kind of madman comes up with that shit sober?

I totally get this perspective, because Trump hasn't lied about a single thing, nor has anyone in his campaign or cabinet.

Had slept in. And this is where we point out that Trump current lives in a place where Obama has also slept. What's going to happen if he loses to a Dem in 202?

How his base reacts to the tape probably depends on whats in it. If its just two women peeing on each other (seemingly the implication of the dossier), approval won't change much. If Trump is getting peed on, or if he is furiously masturbating, probably hurts him somewhat.
