Very true, though it was the one that inspired your post. It's not like our guards aren't trying to close out on shooters. Their offense just collapses our defense into the lane and then they kick it out to guards coming off of screens. It's an efficient offense because their three point shooters have a better chance of making a basket than their tiny front court does of scoring over our seven footer

Exactly. This is what I don't understand. Why not extend our D up and give them the lane and let them try and get tough 2s through the teeth of our big men?

I don't like this D, but we should play either a Box or Diamond & 1 on Fox. The guy covering Fox shouldn't help on anyone.
 
Our guys have to stop thinking that all they have to do is show up against bad teams.
 
Not rebounding the defensive board is killing us right now.
