Trump to pardon Scooter Libby

Brad has one of two points in every post he makes.

1. Make some quip about Rick Wilson or Louise Menche's twitter.
2. Point out some sort of perceived hypocrisy among the liberal members of this board.
 
Kinda bummed we're not going to see bkf's take on this, I'd love to hear how the people of these boards drove him to support pardoning Scooter Libby.

And #2 is usually based on some incorrect interpretation of the facts.

I believe the main prosecution witness against Scooter Libby recanted later. Also someone else admitted to being the person who outed the CIA agent.

For a guy who hated so many posters here, he certainly allowed himself to be influenced by them all the time. Thanks to his loathing of the board's younger, socially liberal posters, he renounced decades of far-left liberalism (I remember him writing at least once that he was a Socialist), and became a hard-right Trumpite conservative. I also remember him claiming that the brilliant arguments of jdmh convinced him to join the dark side. He's probably sitting in a bar in Randleman, retelling the heroic story of how he convinced Randleman voters to allow liquor sales in town, and denouncing all the "goddam Millennial bastards" on this board. LOL.

Richard Armitage and Karl Rove were the ones who actually outed the CIA agent. Libby was guilty of obstruction of justice and lying to the FBI. More of that lot should have had charges brought against them.
