Wish the USGA would take notes - you don't have to make the greens impossible to have a great tournament that challenges the players and allows for multiple successful strategies. Even with the rough not having its typical teeth this setup is almost perfect.

Instead of being terrified that benign conditions on Saturday would lead to double digit scores under par and overreacting with a cheap setup, they just let the guys play.
 
That flop shot by Tiger seemed pretty unsmart.
 
Looks like Molanari's going to win it.

I'm okay with Molinari winning it - seems like an okay guy and he's been playing great this year. But yeah, I was rooting hardest for a playoff with 3-4 guys in it. 15-18 at Carnoustie may be the most brutal closing 4 holes in the world, even with 18 playing much easier downwind.
 
Molinari has been a good player for a long time, but always kind of second tier, one step behind DJ, Rory, JT, Spieth, etc. I think over the last two months he’s shown that he belongs in the first group.
