FWIW, the ACC Atlantic is not the best division in college football. Prior to this weekend it was rated seventh of the nine divisions that represent the SEC, B1G, BIG 12, PAC and ACC. The SEC West is number one this year, as it has been for the previous five seasons, according to Sagarin. The ACC Atlantic did finish second the past two seasons.

I hate to think the coaches feel a true freshman Bothroyd was move ready then a guy highly recruited that’s in the 2nd year with the program in Allen, barring any injuries.

He got a helmet sticker from Jesse Palmer on “College Football Final.” Jesse told the story and said “payback is a beep.”
 
Agree it makes a great story line. The best parts of the story are that Claw and company were so quick to react with a great sales pitch and offer and Colburn saw a great opportunity for an education and to play!

Bothroyd’s high school film was impressive and he showed up at Wake physically ready to play.

Agree.
Good size and strength for a freshman and a good motor.
Think he'll be a good one for the next few years.
 
Allen, is after al, a RS Freshman, way to early to give up on him. His rating leads to a lot of expectation but there is plenty of time for him to contribute. Lets hope it all works out.

Not giving up on him, just wondering why if he’s heathy he hasn’t seen some snaps with the considerable amount of mop up minutes we’ve had this year.
 
The importance of Colburn to this program cannot be understated. Our running game would have been significantly worse without him. He helped save what was a rough 2015 class in retrospect. We lost a tough recruiting battle for Nyheim Hines. We pulled Rocky Reid and then Matt Colburn.

They also kept talking about Petrino’s daughter and his going to a granddaughter’s softball game. Yeah, real family man, that Petrino.

Hopefully Petrino is bullying Galloway into staying in his office all night and never seeing his family. Elrod's world is crumbling (?), so hopefully Galloway gets canned soon, and the days leading up to his termination, lots of in your face swearing at Galloway in front of the players, other coaches etc., should suffice.

Also, Basham had a neck injury? Or concussion? He was playing really well...
