don't feel like Hoiberg ever got a fair shot at things with the Bulls
problem is at the GM level

Agent Raymond Brothers: “Markelle (Fultz) has been diagnosed with Neurogenic Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, (TOS), a physical injury.
TOS affects nerves between the neck and shoulder resulting in abnormal functional movement and range of motion, thus severely shoot a basketball...”
John Collins has put up 19 and 11, 24 and 11, 26 and 14 in his last 3 games, while shooting well over 50% each game and hitting a couple threes. Kid might turn out to be a really good NBA player if he keeps improving at the exponential rate we’ve seen out of him since he was in HS.
Exactly
The fact that Collins played so sparingly as a freshman is another knock on Danny
So Danny was was supposed to bench a senior all ACC player at center or one of the team's best returning 3 pt shooters at PF in favor of a non-top 100 freshman with almost no outside shooting capability? He was 0-1 CAREER three point shooting at Wake.

Lol, Grant O'Brien was getting playing time over John Collins at times his freshman year (and no, Collins was not in foul trouble, either). Some people have bad memories around here.

To be fair, even people who saw it happen should have a tough time believing that Collins only played 20+ minutes 4 times as a freshman even though he scored in double figures 13 times.

Anybody remember the circumstances around this 93-91 loss at VT in which Collins only played 5 minutes?
