Virginia looks terrible.
Virginia looks terrible.
Bacot suffers what looks to be a bad ankle injury against Ohio State, and is out for the rest of the game, and maybe a good deal longer. If he's out for a good chunk of the season, then UNC is probably screwed. Anthony and Bacot have been the only consistently good players for them thus far this year, imo.
ETA: Watching more of the game in the second half, without Bacot UNC is basically Cole Anthony and nothing else. They have no reliable scorers other than Anthony and Bacot, and their much-praised grad transfers (Keeling and Pierce) suck. They're both poor defenders and Keeling, who was supposed to be a good shooter, can't hit the broad side of a barn.
Yeah, this Sunday's match-up between UNC and UVA is going to be even less stellar without Bacot and Key. I anticipate a lot of masonry.

In the Wake Coaching Candidate Casino, I'd have to put some chips on McKay. I'm not saying he's among my top 5 choices, just that I can see him getting a call from Currie after others turn him down.
