Welcome Dave Clawson - 430PM Presser (Clawson Wins Presser, OGB Gets E-Boners)

Anyone know how long it usually takes for them to get the archived video up? I only caught the end of the Q&A, want to watch the whole PC
 
Did I hear correctly that he and some of his assistants have already been studying films of recruits? I asume that would be the OC and DC? I know he said he would like them to join him, so I wonder if that has basically already happened?
 
I wouldn't expect to hear anything official on hiring of current Bowling Green coaches until after their bowl game. We may get some information by what we don't see with hiring of new coaches. If Clawson hangs out at Wake pretty much by himself for a while, look for him to bring most of his BG staff to Wake. If he hires other people, that will tell you some of the BG coaches aren't moving south.
 
Sounded like his OC and DC were locked up. He didn't mention those positions when he was talking about potentially retaining Wake coaches, and he talked about how he and "his coaches" were already going over film. He also talked up the value of consistency between coaches, so my guess is they're coming unless they get head coaching gigs somewhere.

But a lot of the assistant we will want won't be free until after bowl season anyway.
 
That was awesome. Makes me excited to be a Deac. Really glad to have a guy who seems "get it" coaching at Wake. He may not have gone to WFU but you can tell he understands it.
 
Well this decides my question regarding purchasing season tickets and continuing in the DC.
