2014 FB Recruiting Thread: Signing Day is this Wednesday!

Huge get. Definitely a position of need.

Now Clawson needs to get the other guys that visited to pull the trigger too.

I'm pretty sure Nikita's success was a large part in what sold Zeek on WF (plus proximity for his family to come to games). Zeek is only 6'1", which is obviously a little small for a DT, but he has "a constantly running motor and is always in the backfield." Hmm, where have we heard those phrases before. Hopefully he wreaks havoc on offenses like Nikita.

Well he's about 5 inches taller than Nikita then. If he can be 3/4 the player then we are in good shape. Think Little Looney will step up this year too.

True but he's still a little undersized (and underweight) for the position, so hopefully he can adapt some of Nikita's approaches to the position.

Playing a 4 man front this year, he want have as many double teams as Nikita faced in the 3-4.

Forgot about that. Good point.

Also, in regard to WF's new defensive scheme and planning, it might be good to consider him a DT/DE. A possible example of usage might be that he will get his time in the DT rotation but could also play a little DE on early downs while going to DT for passing situations.

We still have room and need for Tae Thibodeaux -Thibodeac- as someone labelled him- DTs are hard to find- and we need them. Clearly the staff liked these guys better than Cerenord. Recruiting is fun again.
