I ate too many sausage balls for dinner tonight.
http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/sports/college/story/2012-06-08/vanderbilt-wake-forest-athletics-director-pay/55464134/1The $3.24 million reported for Vanderbilt's David Williams and the $2.44 million for Wake Forest's Ron Wellman were driven heavily by payouts of deferred compensation amounts that had been accumulating for more than a decade, according to the returns and other information provided in response to requests from USA TODAY Sports.
But even including only one year's worth of the annual average portions of the deferred money, the returns indicate that Williams - who holds multiple positions at the university - and Wellman are among the nation's highest-paid AD's.
By the way, Marquette has slightly more women participants than Wake, 192 to 177. Football is the primary difference.
No such thing.

Only if I can get a couple of Stratts to gty it and a slightly used maple refrigerator as collateral.
Does football pay for itself?
If so, the only reason Marquette could pay more is Doc Rivers.
Football costs $14,054,107 and generates $15,143,335
Don't think that includes tv money but maybe?
So, why could Marquette pay more than we could?
I just know townie is watching, disapprovingly shaking his head as he reads a lot of these threads.
Also I CAN'T STOP READING THE SPORTS BOARD
