lol, I was just about to post the same thing.
Things are so bad right now that I am now almost hoping for Ben Howland.
Is the Mike White dream also dead?

God I hope Wojo fails so hard.
I have to keep the faith.
If it's between Manning and Turner or White or someone we don't know, I'd take Manning. To be honest with you, I'd take Manning over Howland.
I just don't want to give up yet. If Manning would say yes today, he'll say yes in ten days after we go balls to the walls on Shaka, Marshall and Archie. None are fully off the table yet.
If I were guessing, Archie is making a littler over $1M at Dayton. If we offered $2.5M for eight years, I'd be shocked if he said no.

$2M for 5 should get it done.
Unless there's a darkhorse from a power conference, this is the best choice we can make right now. Might not be exactly what we want, but there's still time to hit a home run.
Wojo is a great hire for Marquette, and likely to be a better coach that whoever we get. He is young, smart, energetic, and used to winning.
If Marshall isn't on the table, Howland is my second option behind Shaka. He's obviously a good hire.

But can we get a job for Mrs. Miller?
No guarantee Wojo will be very good. Hell, he wasn't even a good basketball player. Worst Duke team in last 30 years featured him as PG.
Time will tell.

offering archie miller a bigger contract than buzz williams got would be beyond stupid
