i feel like taylor swift got way hotter in the last 12 months
 
Somebody explain this aspect of plane pricing to me

I'm looking at flights for November to try and figure some things out, if I want to go directly from Austin to Charleston or fly back to BWI then drive down to Charleston the next day. I can leave Austin at 2:55 PM, transfer at BWI, and fly down to Charleston for $188. Or I can just take the Austin to BWI leg and pay $199

She's finally moved past her stunted angsty teenage phase and moved on to fun college freshman territory. It's a much better look on her.
 
it's dumb. we had the same issue flying from dc->clt->belize. we were debating driving to clt to leave the dawg w/ the wife's fam, but it was like $200 more.

But it's not just about you. Airline tickets are priced based on origin and destination. On average, there is a higher demand for the Aus-BWI flight than a Aus-Charleston flight, so airlines are able to charge more for that origin/destination pair.

That seems dumb. They should revisit their pricing scheme, separate things a bit more, and rewrite their algorithms. I feel like they're missing out on some profits.

And yes I know for a fact that they haven't already hired a consulting firm to look at these things for them already.

Wow, I really have a problem: in the span of four hours, i cursed the shit out of a nice young man on a bicycle and a young co-ed walking down the street.
