Clawson - Tyree Harris to Redshirt

It's amazing how many WF fans have trashed Jim Grobe since he left.....a coach that took us to heights never reached before and which are unlikely to be reached again. This is a man who won far more games at WF than any other coach we have ever had in the 60-year history of the ACC. When Clawson eventually leaves WF, I would be surprised if he has won even half as many games at WF as Jim Grobe won here.

I still want to take that bet with you.

can someone else quote this so he will see it/respond to it?

For Townie.

For the old board banning.

oh shit that fucked me up

like

on an existential level

I don't respond to comments from people whom I have on ignore....even if someone else quotes their posts for me to see. Townie no longer exists, as far as I am concerned.

I sometimes imagine what it would be like if bkf's idols posted on here. Bobby Knight would probably put him on ignore, or at least neg rep him into oblivion.

it's gonna be hard going through today not even knowing if i exist

do i dare disturb the universe?
do i dare to eat a peach?
i shall wear white flannel trousers and walk upon the beach

why does bkf have townie on ignore?

Remember this?

This was when he called me a liar for three pages about me getting the detail of the time of day wrong about a story I told about my dad in 1968.

To be fair, you are a lying liar who lies. You also don't exist, so that kind of explains it.

bkf puts everyone who negs him on ignore, meaning they cease to exist.

Kinda makes me wanna neg rep him even though I never pay attention to any of his rants. Like when I visited Niagara Falls, part of me wanted to jump in and go over for the thrill of it.

The thing that bugged me about Grobe in the last few years was his propensity to blame the players in a back handed way. "I'm not blaming the players but, we can't block, we can't tackle, we can't run the ball... and so on. He never said WE can't call plays.

What drove me crazy is when he'd get asked about whether we should've passed more or run more or played this player more, he'd say stuff like, "yeah I would've liked to have seen us do this more or get this player more touches or get this player on the field more," and it would be like he had no control over it. I'd be yelling at the radio "you're the freaking head coach, if you want something done all you've got to do is say the word!"

L+D, I think the last time he coached with his hair on fire was the 2nd half of the '09 Stanford game. The '12 Carolina game was a mirage it seemed. He would come across as a guy who had a 5-hour energy, SIX hours ago.

Very true.

OK, now people are just quoting townie to override the ignore function. Looks like the policy needs to be tweaked a little to add anyone who quotes someone I have on ignore to the ignore list as well. This could be fun. Here goes.....
I would imagine the cognitive dissonance of seeing posts from people who don't even exist must just be staggering.
