I'm not particularly sure that a solid response to his game tonight was to talk about someone else running their mouth. Particularly since it was clear that the second tech he got for talking to the refs. It was plain as day to anyone watching he was talking to the refs.

My point was that Darius's career at Wake was damaged by officials assuming that he was guilty of fouls inside simply b/c he played a physical game. I am still angry that he spent so much time on the bench due to foul trouble.

DT will have the same problem;but more deservedly perhaps due to his attitude.
 
I know your point and agree with it.
I was just taking the comparison in a different direction.
I'd take six Dariuses (Darii?) on this team, Mangler rep or no.

You should tell Devin that you also supported [Redacted]. Seek common ground.
 
If Devin played on any other team in the ACC he would become the most hated player @ WFU. Everyone on this board would rank him up there with the all-time most hated opponents such as Hodge, Wallace, Vasquez, etc.
 
Chas was even worse. That dude was a dick. Remember when the Clemson fan punched him during a game? Takes a pretty high level of douche to instigate fans to the point of punching you.

No, that was sweet! Chas was a dick, not a pussy. I think Devin is all talk. Chas would actually mix it up.
 
Chas >>>>> Devin by a longshot. Chas would back it up. He wouldn't flex for the camera and was, if my memory serves me correctly, rarely extremely late getting down the court like Devin.

Yeah, he had another great shooting night: 4-15, 7-13. Pretty much par for the course. He did pad the stat sheet with 5 steals and 8 rebounds though. He would be pretty good if he could shoot a lick . Madison had another great offensive game too . Thank goodness Leonard, the Greek and Wilbekin were brought in late by DM and Mclinton is improving . We might not ever score more than 20 points otherwise .

To be honest, it's the best I've seen since Dave Odom coached at Wake. We simply have limited basketball player talent at this point. Recruiting well is the key to DM's future success as his coaching ability seems to be quite good.
 
Devin is a major reason I haven't watched games the past few years. Such a clown.
 
Devin needs to realize that if you are going run your mouth then you better back it up with your play. Remember dissing Tulane earlier this year after our win there. Just shows a general lack of maturity that has continually manifested itself.
 
I mean, there was a reason Thomas committed to Coach [Redacted]. We were the only "legit" (at least historically) program to offer him. And one of the reasns for his lack of other offers was his attitude.

We recruited 2 types of players under [Redacted]: "yes-but" players- yes he is athletic, but he can't shoot; and players who sucked.
 
To be fair to Devin, The Bucknell player rode him out from the basket about 5-6 feet, that foul should have been called, he did bark at the reff after that so the T was called for. I sit 15 feet from that play so it was obvious to me, how 3 officials missed the Bucknell player riding Devin out from under the basket is baffling to me. But then with the crew last night I guess I am not that amazed.
