Guys, I just made the best meal.
We started with bacon wrapped scallops and a nice Chardonnay from a vineyard we visited over Christmas.
Then we did a butternut squash ginger soup.
After that we had a nice intermezzo of mango sorbet.
Our entree was beef tenderloin with roasted brussel sprouts and whipped potatoes. That was paired with a very nice San Giovese from the same vineyard.
For dessert we had molten chocolate cake.
Then I got engaged.
