@rtlane highly unlikely. If the SEC wants expansion it will be TWO at a time just like Noah's Ark! Aggies aren't happy with ESPN HORNS NET

Discuss.

Is the SEC going to add Angola State to simply cut out the middleman?

That would be a death sentence for the Big Eight then.

Oklahoma should beg in as Texas has their own thing going

I would consider the USC team that played in the SEC Championship Game last year to be Clemson's peer.

The SEC is not going to add teams in markets they are already in. They said as much so Clemson is not a candidate.

aTm was never in the Big 8. They're old SWC.

I heard that aTm was going to bring this up again after the expansion talk died down last year from somebody who worked in the aTm AD. They have Perry's support behind them, but they'd be just as irrelevant in the SEC as they have been in the BXII South. Oklahoma would be a natural fit for the SEC, but I don't think the legislature would let them split from Okie Lite. The SEC is very keen on adding Texas to its recruiting grounds.

Based on what I have heard and read, A&M could be a beast this year.

they won't be. They lost their defensive lynchpin and have always played like dogshit outside of College Station.

I'd love to codify our rivalry with Vandy!

I just got a raging clue.

A&M doesn't seem like a fit to me in the SEC but whatever.

I've always thought F$U should be in the SEC.

A&M is perfect because it opens up Texas to the sec...plus they can generate rivalries with lsu and ark.

I also think fsu makes more sense than clemson does, but if they can further tap the texas market they would prob go for it, but after a&m there aren't really any solid options, assuming ou can't go unless little sis okst does as well.

Every time sec expansion comes up, clemson is always linked, but we don't really bring much to the table except the sec style gameday environment, and that doesn't put money in th sec coffers. Clemson can't even really be packaged as a regional rivalry to showcase on a national scale, because nobody knows who the fuck clemson is...

But....if a&m were brought into the sec, who would the other team be? If ou can't go, then fsu, miami, and clemson make the most sense, prob in that order.....I can't really think of another viable option....vatech maybe? Interesting situation...

A&M makes sense, another decent football school who will have the occasional decent basketball team and then fade into oblivion.

only four road games (@texas tech and @oklahoma are tough, but @k-state and @iowa state shouldnt be too bad) and a nuetral site game vs arkansas

at home the other 5 "big 12" games plus Idaho and SMU non-conference.
