BBall Recruiting Thread 2k16- SJM, Washington, Childress & Mitchell sign NLIs; 2017?

Check out the WF basketball site. Nice to see Dinos and his mates. Some of those guys have been working out! I'm looking at you Mitchell.
 
I'd still be very happy if Kwe committed to the Deacs! I want at least one of Eli and Washington too (unless we get Smith), But I think Kwe is going to be very helpful to our program in the long run.
 
I believe that making these short lists for the highest profile recruits is beneficial to us. Call it an "umbrella effect" or what you want, but being listed with top programs looks good to younger players who pay attention to this type of stuff (they all do). It may allow our staff to start a relationship with a 2017/2018/2019 player that could be a top player in a few years. We don't win recruiting battles in a vacuum (meaning no geographic/relationship advantages) with the top programs. We win battles by identifying talent early, convincing them we are a good fit and building relationships early.
 
Well RU fans are bombarding Kwe on Twitter right now and he's loving it at the moment. I wouldn't be surprised if he commits this week

i wouldn't blame him. RU fans are propping him up as a five star recruit.
 
Yeah I think some love for Wright on Twitter could go a long way before his visit. Landing him would be absolutely huge and he's one target that Deacs on social media haven't really interacted with as much
 
More importantly, let's make sure we put up plenty of "Wanted" posters around campus when he visits.

I once put up a bunch of "Not Wanted" Bz posters in the Miller Center, and well, WFPD came knocking. Ah, good times.
