Harrison,Hayes, and Bakero get most of the attention (rightfully so, all very good players), but our defense is just stellar. We also play so well out of the back. The distribution down the wings and through the midfield is just so impressive. Such poise and calm. Makes a huge difference when you're chasing a goal to know that you're not going to be exposed on the counter.

Yep. Agree with all of this. Such an impressive team.
 
The 07-08 teams that were so good had all the talent in the midfield and Lyle Adams trying to dribble out of the back, generally ignoring Cronin or Bone and making 70 yard runs himself before booting it twenty yards over the bar.
 
I really want to win the ACC tournament. It's amazing that we haven't won one during period of sustained success we have had.
 
One thing working in our favor this year is that UVA is already out.

And Carolina. That's two recent national champions (and our bogey team). Unfortunately, nearly all of the remaining teams are also nationally ranked in the top 25.
