Nels Cline turned 60 this week. Does that make Wilco Granddad Rock?

Also a Ryan Bingham fan. Kicking myself for not going to see him co-headline with Lucero last year.

You missed out. That was a great show in Charleston last year. Saw him again while in New Orleans for a Bachelor party at Voodoo Fest. I need to see Hayes Carll at some point as his style is similar other his songs are not as serious as Bingham's.

New Kanye is not good. Lyrics are lame/corny. As usual for artists, being a family man has led to Yeezy losing his edge.

Yeah, I just around to listening to it. Woof.

Really annoying how good the intro and outro sampled beats were, too. Wish he would have stuck with that for an entire track.

I'll wait for them to come to the City of Decline instead. On their last tour, I had way more fun seeing them at the Tabernacle than I did sitting in the rafters at MSG (although seeing the Strokes and LCD on back to back nights at MSG was a pretty epic music wknd).

Yeah, I was lucky enough to see LCD at Terminal 5 the year before they broke up, towards the end of another one of their 4 day NYC marathons I think. Based on that show, can't really see enjoying them more in a stadium atmosphere, or even really at an outdoor stage. I'll wait and hope they don't schedule TD Garden.

idk, i saw arcade fire at a medium sized venue and an arena and the arena show was way more fun

less the case with bands like, say, the lumineers who i saw in a room with 50 people and then 12 months later at a massive amphitheater

This is a really cool song. I like it. Guess the singer sounds a bit too emo, maybe that's what I was picking up on, but I love Morrissey so I'm not one to complain.

It'll never happen, but Yeezy needs to retire at this point and just focus on producing, where he's still a genius.

I have a hard time believing that all of the last 3 or 4 Kanye singles are actually going to be on his new album. "Only One" came out over a year ago.
