MTOW: Moore doesn't have a problem with stamina

He was completely gassed after his opening minutes last night from what I could see.

Yeah, he looked visibly tired at the free throw line several times. Not sure if that's just his demeanor, but he looked tired as hell to me at the end of his 3-4 minute spurts.

Yeah he's hard to read sometimes. His body language in general is pretty sub par but that tends to happen with 7-footers

7 footers with athletic ability and coordination don't grow on trees. Moore should have been getting more PT to play himself into better game shape meanwhile helping the team win games.

When I watch Doral Moore, I wonder why Andre Washington is so bad. It isn't like Dre isn't athletic, too. Surprised he couldn't put it together enough to ever get significant minutes.

Looked gassed to me at times too.

Moore was getting lots of practice time wasn't he? It's not like he's sitting around between games.

So what's the deal with Dre next year? Is he transferring or staying?

There are times when Moore appears gassed on the court, which can lead to failing to get back on D or fouls. With that said, even assuming that Moore needs periodic rests, he never played more than 13 minutes in a game all season until last night, and Moore played more than 10 minutes only twice in 26 games. Playing Moore 10 or less minutes in 24 of 26 games has nothing to do with conditioning, but simply a decision to play others instead. Even without the offense, Moore is the only player on the WF team that can keep opponents from getting easy shots with 10 feet of the basket. Moore's block shot % is more than double anyone else on the roster.

Based upon his defensive presence alone and WF problems with interior defense all year, Moore has got to get healthy minutes in every game.

With our inability to defend, having a shot blocker guarding the paint is huge. I do think that there is a bit of a stamina issue with Moore, but not to the extent that his minutes should've been limited like they have until last night. He should've been getting 20 minutes a game long before last night.

I for one enjoyed this Baptist-Jesuit jousting contest, and look forward to many Moore.

in the gallows humor department, I couldn't help but notice this at the bottom of the web page:
