CBM: X-Men '97 finale; My Adventures with Superman S2 May 25; The Boys S4 June 13

Obviously that's subjective, but off the top of my head, these sitcoms hit the ground running over the last 10-15 years - VEEP, The Office (UK), Archer, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Arrested Development, You're the Worst, Flight of the Conchords and Eastbound and Down. That's without even trying to think about the 90s, let alone back to Cosby era.

You're the Worst had a very strong pilot. Good call. I can't remember the Sunny, Arrested, or Veep pilots right off hand.

Archer pilot was very good.

Powerless pilot was, yeah, woof. Couple of good jokes, but pretty weak overall.

The Powerless pilot was bad but fixable. Kinda reminded me of the Parks & Rec pilot. Vanessa Hudgens is quite annoying. I can't really place why. But I don't like Amy Poelher either and Leslie Knope is one of my all-time favorite characters.

On a much better note, Samurai Jack returns March 11. Here's the trailer:

Here's finally a good look at what Iron Fist will be about:

I'm looking forward to this, but in a different way than the other series. I was excited to see Daredevil, excited for Jessica Jones, same for Luke due to prior familiarity. The Iron Fist character has little draw for me though, but Marvel Netflix does so no doubt the bingeing will be intense and complete before the weekend ends.

I liked Supergirl more last season.

Same. The loss of the characters of Max Lord and Cat Grant are noticeable, and the Jimmy character has regressed significantly. It seems like every character has taken a step back, and does anyone else find it weird they found their Dad and then that storyline just vanished? Pretty uneven second season.

That was fine, but underwhelming compared to the first trailers of the other four seasons of Marvel Netflix. It also seems derivative of Arrow, Iron Man, and Batman Begins. A rich white guy thought to be dead learns how to fight and comes back to reclaim his company. I trust Marvel to do something unique but I don't see it in that trailer.

Compare that to the Jessica Jones trailer. It does a great job establishing the hero. Then it flips and establishes the villain as a horrific threat. The Iron Fist trailer doesn't establish much at all even with the advantage of a compelling returning villain.

I have still yet to watch anything beyond Daredevil S1. For some reason I'm not motivated to watch the others. I guess the grounded-ness of DD is a little more appealing in the serial TV format than the mystical powers stuff to me.

The groundedness of a blind vigilante taking on a guy with super strength?

Now that AoS introduced Nitro, we can start the Civil War story! No they didn't specifically call him that, but if he looks like a Nitro, explodes like a Nitro and coalesces like a Nitro, he's Nitro.

Last night's Flash was pretty run of the mill - a villain of the week while Wally leveled up, but then the last 30 seconds happened. Next week - not only Grodd but Gorilla City!!! I'm a little apprehensive about how that will be portrayed on a CW budget, but still, I'll take it.

Not exactly a comic book movie, but close: I just finished watching the BBC's Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell on Netflix. It's a very good book - Hugo award winner - and the Netflix series does an excellent job with it. Good acting, good special effects, very good actors with the right chemistry. It's only 7 episodes so an easy binge.

I'm 60% through the book. I enjoy it, dragging a little though. Looking forward to watching the series.

Honestly, The Flash has been pinching pennies on the SFX budget this season. Maybe they've been saving for this. When they go all out, it looks good (see Grodd and King Shark).

King Shark didn't look good, though. Or if it did, it was because they made that shit as dim as possible.

Looks fine to me. What did you expect?

A blind guy beating up criminals and a really strong villain.....easier to believe than mind control and glowing fists.

You guys really dont need to mock every opinion of every tv show i ever post ya know.

Legion was promising. Lots of questions.
